Cartridge World offers consumers cheap solutions for all their printing needs that do not jeopardize the quality of impression. These solutions have a positive effect on the environment, helping to reduce amount of cartridges in landfills.

Most waste worldwide ends up in landfills. Laser cartridges are made up of plastic and metal conductors, among other components, that make them very dangerous for the environment.
The cartridge recycling industry was born due to the high costs and environmental concerns associated with toner cartridges. Most cartridges can be remanufactured and refilled and sell for prices far below the originals.

But, what happens with the quality of the product?

This waste is eventually recycled, incinerated or illegally dumped in the ocean. In the last 20 years, the need to reduce the amount of waste has arisen due to lack of space as well as increased consciousness to help save the environment. A lot of these products are transported toward areas where environmental controls don’t even exist and instead of being recycled, are left to contaminate the air, water and earth.

If measured by quality of impression, percentage of faults, resistance to discoloration and yield, the results for a remanufactured cartridge are the same as those of an original cartridge.

According to “WasteWi$e Update”, published by EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) in 1997, remanufactured cartridges as just as good as the originals. And a recent study conducted by Lyra Research found that 77% of users considered remanufactured cartridges to be the same or better than the originals.
